GCSE PE - Climbing

Service Description

Iventure has years of experience of delivering GCSE PE to students and know the specifications and procedures of assessment in line with the awarding bodies. As the specification changes we will also adapt and change so that we can continue to provide a good educational experience and assist with grading and assessments for your students. We offer different packages for your school: GCSE 1 – Basic 1 full day One full day of climbing where instructors will teach and develop students’ knowledge and get it filmed by school staff for evidence. Full witness report of each student being moderated. Times: 9am -4pm GCSE 2 – Basic half days Three half days of climbing where instructors will teach all the skills on the spec as well as getting the staff to film students for their evidence. Full witness report of each student being moderated. Time: 9am – 1pm ***If you want our staff to film and do video editing, there is an additional cost for this. GCSE 3 – 6 Week block This package is a 6 week block of 1.5-2hrs where instructors will teach the spec over a period of six weeks as well as filling and our GCSE Climbing specialist book, which can also be used for evidence. But with school staff doing all the filming evidence. Full witness report of each student being moderated. Times: TBA with schools on an individual basics ***If you want our staff to film and do video editing, there is an additional cost for this. GCSE 4 – Full This package is again for 6 weeks for 2 hrs where instructors will teach the spec over the six weeks and as well as a GCSE Climbing book to be filled out, as well as Iventure providing all the filming evidence and video editing.
